When the puppies are first born, much like children, their natural inclination and instinct is to be with their mother. This is both an important time for the puppies and the mother, and yet as any mother knows, it can be very tiring her. As the puppies grow, they need to begin learning how to socialize with people for when they are adopted out to their forever homes. Puppy Yoga gives the puppies a perfect opportunity to learn these skills. What a better atmosphere for puppies than in a place of peace, calm and pure love of a yoga practice? This practice is designed to give the puppies an opportunity to play among themselves, interact with others and give mama a little bit of reprieve. Puppy yoga is a unique, heartwarming, joyful experience.  Come and create some amazing, long lasting memories with us! We are proud to announce that Shivana Yoga is a Diamond Winner of Spectator’s Readers Choice award 2020 and 2021!

Practicing yoga can leave clients feeling energized or rested and relaxed and the benefits of yoga practice are many. Gentle mindful yoga is a calming practice designed to activate the parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system while creating a deep awareness of the mind-body-breath connection and cultivating greater feelings of self-acceptance and self-appreciation. In this practice, we will move the body through a series of soft, fluid movements, focusing our attention on noticing and feeling sensations in the body, without judgment or expectation. Using breathe as an anchor, participants are in full control of their experience in the present moment.

Come and step into your practice, nourish your mind and body and fill your heart with puppy love.

Puppies will be available for cuddles and puppy love. They are a constant reminder of feeling joy and being in the here and now. Participants are able to provide warm, loving interaction for these puppies and the experience and feeling is 100% reciprocated.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to Moringa’s Mission to help animals in Dominican Republic.

Scholarships available if paying the ticket price is difficult please contact us for options – contactkingazak@gmail.com

Please bring your yoga mat and a water bottle. READ ABOUT US IN THE HAMILTON SPECTATOR

I started my yoga journey 23 years ago and continued on to become a yoga instructor. Following two car accidents, several health related struggles and a diagnosis of C-PTSD, I have found tremendous healing through gentle yoga, mindfulness and meditation practice. In my classes, I focus on mindfully connecting body, mind and breath, particularly sensitive to those with mobility issues and those who suffer with PTSD

As a life long learner, I have attended many courses in CBT, CPT, DBT skills, Reiki and Reflexology. In my previous career, I was a high school teacher specializing in teaching children with special needs. My approach is gentle, calming and I use loving, compassionate practice to help those working through difficulty. My winsome personality and wit will have you laughing, and my soothing energy will have you leaving my classes rested and relaxed. Be prepared to bliss out.

We will refund your tickets in full in case we have to cancel our events.  There is no refunds for missed event or changed plans.
